Chemicals

Paint, detergent, adhesive, ink and the basic chemicals. A formula is entered as percentages and everything else follows from it: density from the volumes, pigment loading against the critical point that separates a gloss from a matt, VOC less water and exempt solvent, flash point, coverage and cost. The GHS label is not typed but computed — the ingredients' hazards summed by class, with the Category 1 weighting, the M-factors and the acute toxicity estimate — and the sixteen-section safety data sheet is printed from it. Every drum is a lot, and a recall can be answered in both directions.
